Offset Z Clips for Canvas and Picture Framing, with #6 x 3/8 Inch Screws

Pleased with this item. Necessary for my trade and difficult to find.

Works great for small projects.

These came in with one side of the offset with a slight gradual bend intentionally built into the clip. At first, I was surprised, but this provided a spring like affect against the stretcher bars I was using it for and was a minor variation that was majorly beneficial.

As an artist and framing my own work I use these often. Strong metal. I’ve broken glass or frames using the staples and brads in the past and have never had a problem like that with these metal pieces that are screwed into frame. I recommend on some frames drilling a small pilot hole first.

Just what I needed to mount 0.75 thick canvas to open back frames.

As advertised. Had one canvas that sat in the frame far deeper than the others, I just pounded one set a little flatter. Didn't break, so- Also, these include screws. Not all sets do for the money.

Used to finish so many projects, used in place of stapler and point driver gun.

Pictures, they worked for what I needed them for, but there was not enough screws.

Didn’t have the right hardware at first from a third-party but after I got these, I was able to frame the canvas successfully. These offset clips have more leverage with height and width and can help with reaching a lot more.

These are perfect for my canvas framing, I was trying to frame a canvas as it was to high from the lip of the frame so I had different using a staple gun to hold it in to the frame,after receiving these I screw them in and they work perfectly

Exactly like the "name brand" ones I've always bought at the craft or hardware stores. The price difference is astonishing! Sure would have saved myself lots of cash getting these instead years ago!

Works great when pictures are flat in frames. We do a lot of framing and have to keep a variety of different offsets on site and these are just as sturdy as the ones we would get from our supplier but at least half the price.

These offset clips are sturdy and worked well for my picture mounting project.

Worked perfectly, screws included. I'd suggest getting a variety of mounting rabbet depths to increase your frame options. I found many frames that I liked and within my budget but the rabbet depth was too shallow and I could have used say a .125 or .25 mounting bracket. Although I prefer flush mounting. I use gesso board and the brand I use has a half inch depth so frames in the style I'd prefer are more difficult to find. This is a good product for flush mounting, I have not tried, but I think it could probably be easily bent to fit various rabbet depths.

I ordered these for my Dad. He uses them for mounting his oil paintings. He said they are perfect and work great. Awesome price compared to other sites that I checked.

Extra screw hole on short side is not that great for mounting canvas to frame. Some people may use it to screw into the stretcher if there is a gap, but that is probably a bad idea. If using these for craft projects or mounting other things, the second hole could come in handy, though there is only 1 screw provided per clip.

If you plan on bending them a bit to fit better, it can be done with some pliers, or a vice. This is a common problem with standard 3/4in deep frames when the glass is removed... since glass or plexi is usually around 1.5-2.5mm thick, there is a gap between the canvas and clip. An easy solution is to just cut some cardboard to fit over the back of the canvas, punch a hole out the middle so it can breathe, and tighten them up. The cardboard will compress and seal the gap, and a flimsy paper dust cover + adhesive is not required. It also protects the back of the canvas. Another option is to get 1/8in clips and put washers under them, or use thin metal bands that screw into stretchers and frame... but the cardboard method is cleaner.
